Overview: Fruit driven, bright and refreshing
Winemaking: 50% whole bunch fermented over 3 open pot ferments : Home block 27 year old MV6 clone (own roots) and ABEL clone (grafted); no fining or filtration
Aroma: cranberry, rosehip and beetroot and slight reductive notes when freshly opened; underlying dried herbs and ginger root.
Palate: light to medium bodied with fine grained tannins; crunchy fruit flavours of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry; hints of orange peel and aniseed; dry and savoury with a refreshing acid line and balanced finish;
