Winemaking: Skin contact for 24 hours, pressed to tank for primary ferment and then finished in seasoned barrels, free run juice only

Aroma: watermelon, strawberries, red apple skins and wet slate

Palate: light and savoury with a super dry, umami finish

“Strawberry, almond, a sort of Oolong tea fragrance and twiggy character. It’s dry, firm and chalky, some blood orange tang through it, very fresh, with fine grip of brick dust tannin on a long bright finish. Tastes a bit ‘sharp’ perhaps, but in a good way. Really like this.”
