Whole bunch pressed direct to barrel for indigenous ferment. A 50:50 blend of two sites in the Yarra (Upper and Warramate sub region). Free run barrels fermented with full solids. Mix of new (50%) and seasoned Puncheons for a 10 month elevage. Occasional lees stirring for additional mouthfeel. 100% Natural Malo Lactic Fermentation.

nose

Classic Yarra Chardonnay aromas of white peach, grapefruit and nectarine. Delicate and restrained dusty oak, flint and lime leaf elements. Hints of oatmeal, fragipani and cured meats.

palate

Sweet fruit on the front palate from the perfect growing season. Fleshy mid palate texture and mouthfeel from barrel ferment and Malo Lactic components. Flavours include intense nectarine, vanilla and a touch of fig. Balanced citrus acid line and a refined and lingering finish.
